Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Drive

A small shoebox can have a big impact.  We will again be collecting gift-filled shoeboxes for the Samaritan's Purse organization and their Operation Christmas Child.  We will be accepting shoebox gifts through Sun. Nov 13!  At the end of the 11:00 AM service that day, we will have our annual “Blessing and Passing of the Shoeboxes” to the trailer outside the sanctuary.

Empty boxes are stockpiled in the breezeway, and each box contains a list of suggested items as well as packing instructions. So pick up a shoebox and be a part of changing lives through the power of a simple gift!

Collecting Coats for Central VA

We are supporting the Puritan Cleaners "Coats for Kids" drive again this year. Winter coats of all sizes will be accepted (including men's, women's, and children’s). Puritan will clean the coats and provide them to Central Virginia families in need. Please bring your used coats and place them in the designated bin in the main hallway.  In addition, if you and/or your child are in need of a winter coat, please call the church office, 266-0100, and we will work with you to get you a coat in your size.

Please make your donations by Sunday, November 13.
